Message from the Ringmaster

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Asia PowWow Ring Homepage. The Asia PowWow Ring is devoted to link as many Asia PowWow users as possible. Asia comprises of many different countries, races, cultures, languages and religion and its the ringmaster intent to link all Asians together. Its also the objective of this site to facilitate people from all round the world to know Asia better.

Requirements

There aren't many rules for joining the ring. If you are an Asian and uses PowWow, you are qualified to join the ring. All sites are reviewed for quality of content. Sites mainly acting as a page of links won't likely get added. Your site should offer compelling original content.

How to join the Ring ?

Joining is easy. First read the ENTIRE content of this page so that you are aware of what it takes to add the ring code to your web page. Then fill in the following form.

Site Title
Site URL
E-mail
Password (Please do not forget your password)
Keywords (Enter up to 20 keywords to describe your site)
Description (Enter aa short description of your site)
[Submit Site]

Note that the form is submitted, you will need to add the "ring fragment" onto your main webpage. The ring fragment is simply some HTML codes that will generate the ring navigator.

The Ring Fragment must be added to your page before it can be verified and added to the Ring.

You can simply cut and paste the ring fragment from here to your webpage. There will be a small modification necessary. It is listed below the fragment.

Notice, in the code the items "YOUR_SITE_ID". You will need to replace this with the SITE ID that you were given after submitting your site information. Do this now and go ahead and place this code on the MAIN page of your site. This should be the same URL that you used when submitting your site. Be careful when you cut and paste ...... the lines that create the navigational links are particular. They should not contain any extra spaces or carriage returns. I recommend doing the cut and paste operation in a simple text editor such as Notepad.

That's it. You are done. Now just wait until your site is approved (you will receive an e-mail). For approval, I will visit your site and verify that the ring code is in in place. If it is not in place, the site will not be added as it will result in a "broken ring".

Note that the final ring appearance should look like the one below. You may adjust the colors to something that suit the color scheme of your web page. However, do not modify any other portions of the code.
